Student Dress Code for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade

For the 2010-2011school year, the students must wear school polo shirts with our logo from  ASAP (Advertising Specialties and Promotions) www.asapflorida.com/imagine-northmanatee.  The school office has sample sizes that we encourage you to come and try on prior to placing your order because they are a special order item with a NO RETURN POLICY.  Bottoms may be purchased from any vendor as long as they fall within our dress code requirements. 

Tops:

·         School Polo Shirts with our logo (long or short sleeve) in: White, Black, Yellow or blue. The shirts must be tucked in during the school day.

·         Spirit Shirts can be worn every Friday with jeans if desired.

Bottoms:

·         Khaki, Navy Blue, or Black Bottoms

o        Girls: Shorts, Knee length Shorts, Pants, Jumper, or Dress Capris

o        Boys: Kneee length Shorts and Pants

·         No cargo pants. Jeans may be worn on Friday with Spirit Shirts.

·         The bottoms should fit the student. We want the students to be comfortable. This means that the bottoms should not be too baggy or tight.

·         Shorts and Skorts should be at an appropriate length.

·         Something (leggings or shorts) must be worn under the Jumpers/skirts for girls.

Outerwear:

·         Black, White, Yellow solid color zip up sweatshirt or sweater can be worn. Please refrain from multi-colored sweatshirts or clothing with writing on it.

Belt:

·         All students should have a solid color belt when wearing pants/shorts with belt loops.

Socks:

·         All students will wear solid color socks. We will let the students be creative with the colors (As long as they match!)

Shoes:

·         Athletic style or dress shoes can be worn

·         No flip-flops or sandals

·         No shoes that have lights, wheels, characters, or make sounds

·         No Croc style shoes
